Instruction
Product overview and application
Portable water-based extinguishers are designed for everyday building protection and selected initial fire scenarios. They are often used in offices, public facilities, commercial areas and general service spaces.
- Water-based agents are commonly used for Class A fire loads such as ordinary combustibles.
- Use on liquid or electrical fires only when the product label allows it.
- The agent formulation and temperature range must match the storage environment.
Instruction
Main structure and working principle
The unit includes a cylinder, valve head, pressure indicator, nozzle or hose, water-based extinguishing agent and driving gas. Pressing the handle opens the valve and releases the agent through the nozzle.
- The pressure indicator should be in the normal range before use.
- The nozzle must be clear and undamaged.
- Do not mix agents or refill without authorization.
Instruction
Storage and routine inspection
Store the extinguisher in a dry, accessible location within the permitted temperature range and away from corrosive atmosphere, direct sunlight and heat.
- Prevent freezing if the product is not formulated for low-temperature use.
- Check pressure, seal, pin, hose, nozzle and cylinder condition.
- Remove from service if leakage, corrosion, low pressure or label damage is found.
Maintenance
Service and Maintenance Checks
- Use an authorized maintenance organization for repair and recharge.
- Inspect the cylinder and valve assembly before maintenance.
- Replace seals, gaskets and the water-based agent during required service.
- Check the filter, nozzle, hose and pressure indicator.
- Hydrostatically test pressure parts where required.
- Recharge only with the approved water-based agent and specified driving gas.
Safety
Important Safety Notes
- Do not use on energized electrical equipment unless the label explicitly permits it.
- Do not store outside the approved temperature range.
- Do not expose the cylinder to direct heat, impact or corrosive substances.
- Follow local fire code and site emergency procedures.
