English Manual
Wheeled carbon dioxide extinguisher
English operating and maintenance guidance for wheeled CO2 extinguishers used in substations, generator rooms, workshops and larger technical equipment areas.
Operation
Operating Method
- Move the wheeled unit to a stable position at a safe distance from the fire.
- Remove the discharge horn or gun and fully extend the hose.
- Open the cylinder valve according to the product label.
- Hold the insulated grip and aim the horn at the base of the flame.
- Control the discharge and sweep the CO2 stream across the fire base.
- Ventilate the area after use when safe.
Instruction
Product overview and application
Wheeled CO2 extinguishers provide larger clean-agent capacity for electrical rooms, generator areas, workshops, technical rooms and other sites where residue from powder or water-based agents is undesirable.
- The wheeled format supports larger CO2 charge capacity.
- The agent is suitable for many liquid and energized electrical fire scenarios.
- Operators must consider oxygen displacement and cold-discharge hazards.
Instruction
Main structure and working principle
The unit includes a trolley frame, high-pressure cylinder, valve, hose, discharge horn or gun and safety device. CO2 expands rapidly at discharge, creating a cold gas stream that suppresses the fire.
- The hose must be fully extended before discharge.
- The trolley must remain stable during use.
- Do not modify the cylinder, safety device or valve assembly.
Instruction
Storage and routine inspection
Store the extinguisher in an accessible location protected from impact, high temperature and corrosive conditions.
- Check wheels, frame, hose, horn, valve, safety pin and cylinder appearance.
- Verify cylinder weight according to the inspection schedule.
- Keep the movement path clear for fast deployment.
Maintenance
Service and Maintenance Checks
- Qualified service personnel must inspect and maintain pressure-vessel components.
- Weigh cylinders and investigate any charge loss beyond the permitted limit.
- Inspect hose, horn, valve, safety membrane, wheel assembly and frame.
- Hydrostatically test pressure parts according to applicable pressure-vessel rules.
- Replace worn seals, safety devices and damaged discharge assemblies.
- Recharge with approved CO2 only.
Safety
Important Safety Notes
- Do not touch the horn outlet or frost-covered parts during discharge.
- Do not discharge toward people or into occupied confined spaces without evacuation.
- Keep the unit away from high heat and impact.
- Use by trained personnel is recommended for larger wheeled units.
