Wheeled water-based extinguisher

English operating and maintenance guidance for wheeled water-based extinguishers used in factories, warehouses, public facilities and larger Class A fire-load areas.

Operating Method

  1. Move the wheeled extinguisher to stable ground near the fire.
  2. Remove the spray gun and fully extend the hose.
  3. Pull out the safety pin.
  4. Open the valve or lift the handle as shown on the product label.
  5. Aim the spray gun at the base or burning surface.
  6. Press the spray gun handle and sweep the agent across the fire area.

Product overview and application

Wheeled water-based extinguishers provide larger agent capacity for facilities with heavier ordinary-combustible fire loads, including factories, warehouses, public facilities and emergency response stations.

  • The wheeled format supports longer discharge and larger agent volume.
  • Use on electrical or liquid risks only when approved by the product label.
  • Operators should be trained in hose deployment and positioning.

Main structure and working principle

The unit includes a trolley frame, cylinder, valve assembly, pressure indicator, hose, spray gun, water-based agent and driving gas. Opening the valve releases the pressurized agent through the hose and gun.

  • The hose must be fully extended before discharge.
  • The trolley should remain stable during operation.
  • The spray gun allows controlled application across the fire surface.

Storage and routine inspection

Store the unit in a clear, accessible and protected position within the approved temperature range, away from corrosive atmosphere, high heat and direct sun.

  • Check wheel movement, frame integrity, hose, spray gun, pressure indicator and seals.
  • Prevent freezing unless the agent is rated for low-temperature service.
  • Keep the access route clear for fast movement.

Service and Maintenance Checks

  • Maintenance and recharge must be performed by authorized service personnel.
  • Inspect the cylinder, valve, hose, spray gun, wheels, frame and pressure indicator.
  • Replace the water-based agent, seals, gaskets and damaged components during scheduled service.
  • Hydrostatically test pressure-bearing components when required.
  • Do not change to another agent type during recharge.
  • Keep inspection, maintenance and recharge records with the unit.

Important Safety Notes

  • Do not use on energized electrical equipment unless the label permits it.
  • Keep the unit within the approved storage temperature range.
  • Avoid hose kinks and sharp edges during operation.
  • Do not use if the hose, spray gun, frame or pressure indicator is damaged.
